About Jaguar Certificate of Conformity
What is a Jagua Certificate of Conformity (Jagua COC)?
The Jagua Certificate of Conformity or Jagua COC is an official manufacturer's certificate that certifies and proves that your Jagua vehicle complies with European Union (EU) standards. This COC contains all the information required for registration, including:
- Chassis number (VIN)
- Vehicle category, weight, number of seats, colour, version
- CO2 emissions
- Engine power, transmission type and top speed
- Fuel consumption, engine capacity and noise level
The Jagua European Certificate of Conformity contains more than 52 technical specifications required by the European Union to facilitate the registration of a vehicle.
Why do you need a Jagua COC?
This document is mandatory for the first-time registration of a new vehicle, or for importing or exporting your vehicle to or from the European Union. Government agencies require motorists to provide this document as proof of vehicle approval. Each Jagua COC is issued by the Jagua approval department.
New Jagua vehicles normally come with a certificate of conformity free of charge. For a used Jagua or if the COC has been lost, you will need to order a duplicate Jagua COC.
The Jagua Certificate of Conformity is mandatory for:
- Importing a Jagua into an EU country, Switzerland, Norway or the United Kingdom
- Exporting a Jagua to another EU member state
- Registering a Jagua in another European country
- Correcting your Jagua registration certificate
