About Husqvarna Certificate of Conformity
What is a Husqvarna Certificate of Conformity (Husqvarna COC)?
The Husqvarna Certificate of Conformity or Husqvarna COC is an official manufacturer's certificate that certifies and proves that your Husqvarna vehicle complies with European Union (EU) standards. This COC contains all the information required for registration, including:
- Chassis number (VIN)
- Vehicle category, weight, number of seats, color, version
- CO2 emissions
- Engine power, transmission type and maximum speed
- Fuel consumption, engine capacity and noise level
The Husqvarna European Certificate of Conformity contains more than 52 technical specifications required by the European Union to facilitate the registration of a vehicle.
Why do you need a Husqvarna COC?
This document is mandatory for the first-time registration of a new vehicle or for importing or exporting your vehicle to or from the European Union. Government agencies require motorists to provide this document as proof of vehicle approval. Each Husqvarna COC is issued by the Husqvarna approval department.
New Husqvarna vehicles normally come with a certificate of conformity free of charge. For a used Husqvarna car or if the COC has been lost, you will need to order a duplicate Husqvarna COC.
The Husqvarna Certificate of Conformity is mandatory for:
- Importing a Husqvarna into an EU country, Switzerland, Norway or the United Kingdom
- Exporting a Husqvarna to another EU member state
- Registering a Husqvarna in another European country
- Correcting your Husqvarna registration certificate
