About Isuzu Certificate of Conformity
What is an Isuzu Certificate of Conformity (Isuzu COC)?
The Isuzu Certificate of Conformity or Isuzu COC is an official manufacturer's certificate that confirms and proves that your Isuzu vehicle complies with European Union (EU) standards. This COC contains all the information required for registration, including:
- Chassis number (VIN)
- Vehicle category, weight, number of seats, colour, version
- CO2 emissions
- Engine power, transmission type and maximum speed
- Fuel consumption, engine capacity and noise level
The Isuzu European Certificate of Conformity contains more than 52 technical specifications required by the European Union to facilitate vehicle registration.
Why do you need an Isuzu COC?
This document is mandatory for the first-time registration of a new vehicle, or when importing or exporting your vehicle to or from the European Union. Government agencies require motorists to provide this document as proof of vehicle approval. Each Isuzu COC is issued by the Isuzu approval department.
New Isuzu vehicles normally come with a certificate of conformity free of charge. For a used Isuzu or if the COC has been lost, you will need to order a duplicate Isuzu COC.
The Isuzu Certificate of Conformity is mandatory for:
- Importing an Isuzu into an EU country, Switzerland, Norway or the United Kingdom
- Exporting an Isuzu to another EU member state
- Registering an Isuzu in another European country
- Correcting your Isuzu registration certificate
