About Cube Certificate of Conformity
What is a Cube Certificate of Conformity (COC Cube)?
The Cube Certificate of Conformity or COC Cube is an official manufacturer's certificate that attests to and proves that your Cube vehicle complies with European Union (EU) standards. This COC contains all the information required for registration, including:
- Chassis number (VIN)
- Vehicle category, weight, number of seats, color, version
- CO2 emissions
- Engine power, transmission type and maximum speed
- Fuel consumption, engine capacity and noise level
The Cube European certificate of conformity contains more than 52 technical specifications required by the European Union to facilitate the registration of a vehicle.
Why do you need the COC Cube?
This document is mandatory for the first-time registration of a new vehicle or for importing or exporting your vehicle to or from the European Union. Government agencies require motorists to provide this document as proof of vehicle approval. Each COC Cube is issued by the Cube approval department.
New Cube vehicles normally come with a certificate of conformity free of charge. For a used Cube or if the COC has been lost, it is necessary to order a duplicate COC Cube.
The Cube certificate of conformity is mandatory for:
- Importing a Cube into an EU country, Switzerland, Norway or the United Kingdom
- Exporting a Cube to another EU member state
- Registering a Cube in another European country
- Correcting your Cube registration certificate
